As a Webmaster from time to time I take advantage of the ability to post something on a website just because I feel I should. This is one of those times. I did not think I was going to be able to see the Pageant. At the last minute of the last day I was able to take the time off work and see the Life of Christ Pageant. I am a big fan of the movie The Passion and I can tell you the Life of Christ Pageant was just as powerful and inspiring as the Passion. I cannot see how anyone who watched the Life of Christ Pageant would not be totally convinced that Jesus Christ IS the Son of God. They could not help but to see the love that Jesus has for all of us. During most of the Pageant I had a great smile on my face. During some of the Pageant I cried in joy and during some of the Pageant I cried in sadness for the cruelty of man to the Son of God.
I am also a police officer in the area and I did my part to help by directing traffic after the pageant. I saw people who attended the Pageant. Some were fellow officers, some were fellow members of the church and others I know from other churches in the area. To my joy I also saw faces that I have dealt with as a police officer. If the Pageant did not lead anyone to Christ it is at least a great way to plant the seed that Jesus loves us all.
Thank you and may God bless all the wonderful people who worked so hard to bring the Life of Christ Pageant to Soddy-Daisy.
