Preschool Department Birth--23 Months Old Teachers: Tammy Luckhart & Mary Lou Poe Wilson The teachers in this class provide love, nurture, and security for the babies in their care. Toddlers (2--3 Years Old) Teacher: Kim Coleman Children of this age are transitioning from the nursery to the classroom setting. The teacher's goal is to prepare the children to learn about Jesus. 3-5 Years Old Teachers: Lindsay Shadwick & Vickie Kirstein Students in this class experience hands-on activities, games, and stories that explain God's Word. The teachers want the children to know that Jesus loves them and has a plan for their lives.
Children's Department Kindergarten--2nd Grade Teachers: J.J. Meldorf & Sara Young This class is designed to provide a Biblical foundation for early elementary students. Wisdom Seekers (3rd--5th Graders) Teacher: Teresa Hennessey Assistant Teacher: Ruby Lowery Love, guidance, and Biblical teaching given to the children in this very active age group.
Youth Department Middle School (6th thru 8th Grade) Teachers: Vickie Suttle & Darlene Branch In this class, emphasis is placed on the Bible as the true, holy, and infallible Word of God. The relevance of the bible to everyday situations is emphasized. The youth are challenged to spend time daily in prayer and Bible study so they will be firmly grounded in God's Word. High School (9th thru 12th Grade) Teacher: Bren Lagergren Assistant Teacher: Marci Tomyn The focus of this class is developing interest in Bible study. The students are encouraged to exercise individual responsibility in learning and memorizing God's Word.
Adult I Department Are you an Older Adult in the Soddy Daisy area? If so, we would love to have you in one of our Adult I classes. We have four different classes in our Adult I department and you are sure to find one that will suit you perfectly. Everette Assistant Teacher: John Tripp This class consists of senior men who are leaders in the church and are well-grounded in Scripture. These men work in our community and seek to build our church. They love the Lord and share their experiences with each other. Adult II Department College and Career Teachers: Paul Williams & Paul Ross Although we use Bible-centered literature as a curriculum guide, we are sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading in our discussions. For instance, we plan to explore "Living on Less" during the month of November. The Branches (JESUS SPOKE TO HIS DISCIPLES.) "I AM THE VINE; YOU ARE THE BRANCHES. JOHN 15:5 NIV Teacher: Pastor Seton Tomyn Who We Are: Married Couples Fire Walkers Class Teacher: Dean Kirstein We are a class where couples and individuals can come together and study God's word as well as learn how to serve. We believe strongly that we are called to serve. We have breakfast the first Sunday of each month and a social each quarter for the class and anyone visiting the class.
